Suitable school lighting is absolutely crucial. An environment where you can concentrate, which provides a peaceful atmosphere, and where information can be properly absorbed is essential for a school building.
Our World 260 and Challenge are perfectly suited for school lighting. The Maas & Hagoort project is a nice example of this. We completed it a while ago, but it remains one of our favourite projects. In collaboration with Bink Elektro they have provided the lighting for the new construction (2018) of Vitalis College in Breda.
Sustainability and the health of students were key factors in this project. Maas & Hagoort took this into account when creating the lighting plan for the school lighting. Slokker bouwgroep used sustainable materials when constructing the building. The school building was completed with the installation of LED lighting. In addition to providing a major reduction in energy costs, it also has a long lifespan.
The result is a modern, practically-designed, future-proof learning environment. The client was delighted with the beautiful result.
